Biscuits with poppy seeds and grapefruit "Interesting Amot

180 grams of butter 300 grams of flour 300 grams sugar 3 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 packet of baking powder 1 cup sour cream, grated zest of 2 grapefruit and grapefruit juice 3 tablespoons 4 tablespoons of ground poppy seeds
Beat butter and sugar to get a creamy consistency. One at a time stir in the eggs, then the vanilla extract, flour, baking powder, sour cream, zest and grapefruit juice and poppy seeds. Pour mixture into baking dish and bake for 40 to 55 minutes - cake is baked when a toothpick, you stabbed it remains clean.
While the cake cools, prepare the dressing. On low heat, combine butter, sugar and grapefruit juice. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and let it cook for about three minutes. Then from the heat, stir in the grated zest of grapefruit and let stand for ten minutes, the liquid thickens.
