Everyday for better or worse. Tired after overtime - the brain used up for the day. Diet. A quick walk past Rema1000 on the way home - missing rye bread and liver pate for the dog - Chicken on offer. P4 car radio - Jambalaya, crawfish pie ... the old trotter. Suddenly sing with the inner fog facilitates and provides space for new energy.
Do you remember peanut butter cookies back then brown sugar was sold in a cardboard box with foil bag inside? Back then there was a recipe for jambalaya printed on the back. We tried it a few times and it tasted good. Thus, still inspired, I went for a walk in the vegetable garden to look at supper. Celery sticks are grown huge and beautiful. A few stalks of them. And there were also some of the long beans ready.
My proxy version was without rice, but with: chopped onion, chopped celery, squash, diced, garlic, sliced, chopped red pepper, a can of tomatoes, 1/2 package bacon cut into cubes and a pack of Chicken, seasoned peanut butter cookies with sambal oelek and brown sugar.
Bacon was roasted in the pan, the vegetables were scorched in the same frying pan, sugar and chili added along with the tomatoes. It was allowed to boil a little, peanut butter cookies was seasoned with salt and poured into a dish. The chicken pieces peanut butter cookies were laid on top, and the dish got 40 minutes on 200 in the oven.
